We are looking for a dependable Field Service Specialist to join our team. This is a hands-on position working as part of an assigned crew to install and service industrial equipment and components at customer locations.

The right person doesn’t need to know everything when they start. We are looking for someone with mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn and develop their skills.

What You’ll Do

• Work as part of an assigned field-service crew

• Install and service industrial equipment and components at customer locations

• Use hand tools and power tools to complete installation and service work

• Accurately measure and work from job requirements and instructions

• Assist with fitting, assembly, alignment, and installation of equipment and components

• Identify and communicate mechanical, installation, or job-site concerns

• Maintain a safe and organized work area

• Work safely and professionally at customer locations

• Work cooperatively with crew members and supervisors

• Travel to customer locations as required

• Work overtime and weekends when assigned

Experience That Is Helpful — But Not Required

The following experience is a plus, but is not required:

• Welding

• Fabrication

• Millwright work

• Industrial maintenance

• Mechanical installation

• Construction

• Experience using power tools

• Experience reading basic drawings or prints

Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are more important than having a specific job title or background.

Travel & Schedule

This is a true field-service position and requires the ability and willingness to travel.

Employees are typically away from home for approximately 4 to 12 overnight stays at a time, depending on the project and customer requirements.

The position also requires the ability to work overtime and weekends when assigned.

Mechanical Aptitude Test

Applicants will be required to successfully complete a Mechanical Aptitude Test as part of the hiring process.

The test is designed to evaluate practical mechanical reasoning, measurement, tools, basic math, safety awareness, and the ability to understand basic mechanical information.
